$100,000: Preterm Birth Research Coordinator
The Iris Fund connects the dots to show the full picture. Annual funding for a research coordinator across medical engineering, physics and systems biology research will foster quality data collection. When information is shared between labs, we can improve novel and non-invasive techniques for identifying high-risk pregnancies and driving better birth outcomes.

$50,000: National Deployment: U.S. Pregnancy After Loss Network Training
The Iris Fund wants the best possible care for moms everywhere. Dedicated staff time and travel for national deployment of USPAL training to clinics across the county includes site-level train-the-trainer sessions for sustainable change.

$25,000: Support for the SHINE for Autumn Act
The Iris Fund supports advocacy efforts related to the SHINE for Autumn act, including travel and participation in key meetings, markups and advocacy days to engage directly with lawmakers while raising awareness about sustained advocacy and long-term impact.

$10,000: Race Director for The Iris Fund Endurance Events
Last year, more than 100 people showed up for The Iris Fund by participating in races around the world, including the New York City Marathon and the Sydney Marathon, among others. Each race requires careful planning and coordination for these hugely impactful fundraising and awareness-raising initiatives.

$5,000: Flower Deliveries to Celebrate Moms
Every year, The Iris Fund teams up to deliver 150+ bouquets of fresh flowers to moms in five local Connecticut hospitals on Valentine’s Day. For Mother’s Day, we hand out irises at the finish line of the Run Like a Mother race in Ridgefield, CT, to raise awareness and celebrate these amazing moms.

$2,500: Iris Fund Research Internship
